Limited Edition Hand-Embellished Print from an Original Oil and Gold Leaf Painting by Nikki Carr
Another riot of colour on a shimmering, swirling gold background. This time it’s double trouble as layers and layers of gold leaf glisten behind the two kingfishers and light bounces off the textured water splashes. DOUBLE TROUBLE is the latest and largest kingfisher and gold-leaf piece in my Gilded Collection. I lost count of the numbers of layers of paint that I needed in this one to capture the depth and fluffiness of those iridescent feathers!
If you choose the hand-embellished option, each print will be delicately embellished by Nikki with gold leaf in the wings, which ties in with the gold-leaf background of the original painting. This makes each print uniquely different from any other print of the same painting and an original artwork in itself.
Framing:
I have a selection of classic, modern framing options available for you including gold, silver, and dark/light wood of various colours. Each print is carefully packaged and shipped with full tracking service and insurance to your delivery address.
