Another riot of colour on a shimmering, swirling gold background. This time it’s double trouble as layers and layers of gold leaf glisten behind the two kingfishers and light bounces off the textured water splashes. DOUBLE TROUBLE is the latest and largest kingfisher and gold-leaf piece in my Gilded Collection. I lost count of the numbers of layers of paint that I needed in this one to capture the depth and fluffiness of those iridescent feathers!
This beautiful limited edition reproduction is printed on delux Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta (Gloss) paper (325gms) using archival pigment inks to ensure a long life. The image is printed with a 25mm white border along all sides, which will include my signature and the number of the edition in the bottom right-hand corner.
Each print will be hand-embellished with gold leaf in the wings, which will tie in with the gold-leaf background of the original painting. This will make each print uniquely different from any other print of the same painting and an original artwork in itself.
The prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity carrying my signature and the number of the edition. They are made to order by a Fine Art Trade Guild Accredited Printer, using the highest quality materials whose archival properties comply with museum quality standards.

FRAMING:
I have a selection of framing options available for you including gold, silver, and dark/light wood of various colours and widths. If you would like to purchase your print framed and ready to hang, please select the framed option of your preferred print size from the menu and I will be in touch after purchase to discuss which style of frame you would like. This limited edition is printed and hand-embellished to order. Please allow 14 - 21 days for despatch - a little longer if you have requested framing. They will be carefully packaged and shipped in a tube (if unframed) with full tracking service and insurance to your delivery address.
