It always amazes me - a grey horse is never really grey, but a multitude of other colours and tones. Some surprising tubes of colour come out to play even though it is a more limited palette overall. I had wanted to paint this beautiful image of Jasper for a long time – I was haunted by the way that his eye draws you in. The eyes are almost always the first thing that I will paint when I begin. They hold so much of the character and emotion - it's true when they say that the eyes are the window to the soul. Once I get the eyes right, with enough depth and intensity, then I feel that I can move on. Sometimes, just sometimes, when the magic is right, I can have a conversation with those eyes while I paint.

Print size includes a 2.5cm (1 inch) white border that will carry my signature and edition number. Please note: watermark will not appear on the print.

    This limited edition is printed to order especially for you.  

    Please allow the following lead times for me to get it to you:

    Print/s only: 7 - 14 days

    Framed Print/s: 21 - 28 days

    Each print is carefully packaged and shipped with full tracking service and insurance to your delivery address.  

    Please note: if you order more than two prints or one framed print, the system will charge you a shipping cost for each one (except in the case of a pre-defined set). However, I will automatically refund you the cost of the extra shipping so that you only pay once.
