One of the things that is a constant fascination to me is the underlying structure of a horse's beautiful face. I can spend hours endeavoring to capture every vein and ripple of muscle beneath the surface that is so much a part of their expression and personality. They are, by nature, a contradiction - sublime beauty and softness on the outside, clothing a muscular structure capable of enormous power and strength beneath. Capturing this duality is both a passion and struggle that is likely to last a lifetime!
This beautiful limited edition reproduction comes in various sizes and is printed on delux Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta (Gloss) paper (325gms) using archival pigment inks to ensure a long life. The image is printed with a 25mm white border along all sides.
Larger prints also have the option of being printed on Fine Art Canvas and stretched onto a quality wooden frame and is delivered ready for hanging.
Each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity and carries my signature and the number of the edition. The prints are made to order by a Fine Art Trade Guild Accredited Printer, using the highest quality materials whose archival properties comply with museum quality standards.

“it was almost love at first sight. Looking at Tikob on Nikki”s Instagram videos, I just knew I had to see it in person. The details captured by Nikki, from the light reflecting on its coat, the definition of the veins in its face and muscles is what attracted me to this painting straight away. But what made me fall in love with Tikob was the way Nikki managed to capture its soul through the eyes.
