Creating this piece was all about movement, energy and light. The swirling, textural effect of the gold leaf enhances the gestural tossing of this beautiful mare’s head to show off that awesome mane - her crowning glory. The colours are important here too - caught as the last rays of sun disappear at the end of the day, the gold leaf reflects a sunset that creates a magical translucent glow on her glossy white coat.
This beautiful limited edition reproduction is printed on delux Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta (Gloss) paper (325gms) using archival pigment inks to ensure a long life. The image is printed with a 25mm white border along all sides, which will include my signature in the bottom right-hand corner.
If you choose the hand-embellished option, each print will be embellished with gold leaf in the body, which will tie in with the gold-leaf background of the original painting. This will make each print uniquely different from any other of the same painting and an original artwork in itself.
The prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity carrying my signature and the number of the edition. They are made to order by a Fine Art Trade Guild Accredited Printer, using the highest quality materials whose archival properties comply with museum quality standards.

FRAMING:
I have a selection of framing options available for you including gold, black, white and walnut. If you would like to purchase your print framed and ready to hang, please select the framed option from the menu and I will be in touch following your purchase to discuss your frame preference. PLEASE NOTE: the measurements of your framed print will be approx 8-10cm larger than the chosen print size in both directions.
If you do not live in the UK, I would suggest that you purchase your print unframed and get it framed in your country of residence as this would be substantially cheaper than the costs of shipping a framed piece overseas.
