Introducing the first painting (MERLIN) of a new series of work showcasing the incredible horses of the London Metropolitan Police at Old Scotland Yard.
Many of us are familiar with seeing these courageous animals patrolling the London streets or on-duty at major events. However, I have become captivated with the idea of painting them in a way that we don't often get to see - relaxed and off-duty, capturing their incredible beauty and majesty.
MERLIN - a giant with a HUGE personality. I have had the best time painting this guy and the pleasure of capturing him just before his retirement from service at the age of 15. His years on patrol have included prominent roles at many events, which includes leading the crowd down the Mall towards Buckingham Palace at the wedding of William and Kate in 2011.
This beautiful limited edition reproduction comes in various sizes and is printed on delux Hahnemühle Fine Art Baryta (Gloss) paper (325gms) using archival pigment inks to ensure a long life. The image is printed with a 25mm white border along all sides which carries my signature and the number of the edition in the bottom corner.
In addition, each print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity which includes my signature and the number of the edition. The prints are made to order by a Fine Art Trade Guild Accredited Printer, using the highest quality materials whose archival properties comply with museum quality standards.

This limited edition is printed to order. Please allow 14 - 21 days for despatch - a little longer if you have requested framing. They will be carefully packaged and shipped in a tube (if unframed) with full tracking service and insurance to your delivery address.
